~Animal of the month~

This month's animal of the month (the month of June) is a horse. Theese animals come in many different breeds and are bred for many reasons. They are useful and can help work on farms and as a transporter. Horses are cute and very popular pets! However, horses aren't alowed in the city so neither Jayla or Abbie have one of their own. Horse-back riding is a popular sport and is very fun. As you probably know, horses have 4 legs, 2 ears, 2 eyes, hair(usally), hooves, and a nose and mouth. Horses are also measured in hands. *Our connections with animal of month*

-I, Jayla, almost had a horse. My moms friend has a farm and one of her ponys was having a baby. Abbie and I half own the new baby pony and named him ourselves. My mom told me if the pony would have been a big horse, she would've bought it for me for my birthday. I was so upset because I really wanted a horse.

-I, Abbie, do horse-back riding lessons every summer. I have gone to many riding stables, but I am at my favorite one right now!!! At the last stable I went to, my favortie horse ever passed away over the winter. His name was T-Bone and he was dark brown with a tan mane and tail. I've gotten over it now and i love horses just as much as ever!!! :)

You can help out a lot! Just because your 1 person, doesn't mean you can't help. You can donate money or help out at a local animal shelter! You can even help keep stray dogs and cats off the streets and outta the pound. :) You can also go to www.freekibble.com to help feed dogs! By answering just 1 trivia question a day you can donate 10 free pieces of food! When your on tht you can click to feed cats to!!!!!!
